Rioned guarantees the soundness and proper functioning of the equipment it supplies during the warranty period. It is assumed that the user operates and maintains the machine/equipment as described in the supplied user manual and other relevant documentation.

All our deliveries are subject to the METAALUNIE CONDITIONS. The following warranty provisions are an addition to these. In case of a conflict between the provisions in this agreement and the METAALUNIE CONDITIONS, the provisions in this agreement shall prevail.

Upon delivery of machines/equipment, Rioned will provide the buyer with user manuals if required and, if necessary, additional documentation as indicated, in the language of the country where the buyer is located. Without a specific request for this, the information will be provided in consultation with the buyer in Dutch, English, and if available, in German or French. Rioned assumes that the buyer's staff is proficient in at least one of the aforementioned languages and that the buyer is instructed to act according to the user manual.

Warranty on high-pressure machines and suction/pressure combinations

The standard warranty period for newly purchased high-pressure machines and suction/pressure machines is 12 months. The warranty for high-pressure machines includes the cost of parts and labor. Within the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, repairs under warranty can be carried out on-site by one of Rioned's technicians, in consultation. Rioned is under no circumstances liable for costs resulting from the malfunctioning of a machine or for loss of income as a result thereof.

Exceptions to the warranty scheme for high-pressure machines and suction/pressure combinations

  • Machines with 500 or more operating hours are excluded from the warranty scheme. 
  • Customers who purchase certain high-pressure machines (built-in machine, trailer) and have them maintained by Rioned or one of its authorized service partners (after 1 year or a maximum of 250 operating hours) are entitled to a warranty period of 24 months. 
  • Machines produced by one of Rioned's sister companies and machines from the so-called Essential Series are excluded from this scheme.
  • For used machines with a purchase value higher than € 3,750.00 excl. VAT, a warranty period of up to 3 months applies with a maximum of 100 operating hours. No warranty is provided under the mentioned purchase value unless otherwise agreed. 
  • No warranty is given on wear parts such as high-pressure hoses, ball valves, (piston) cuffs, spray nozzles, (air) tires, and lighting.
     

Warranty on Inspection and Detection Systems

The standard warranty period for newly purchased cameras, detectors, and smoke machines is 6 months. The warranty for these systems includes the cost of parts and labor. Defective systems are delivered by the customer to Rioned and returned to the customer at the specified address after repair. Rioned is under no circumstances liable for costs resulting from the malfunctioning of a system or for loss of income as a result thereof.

Exceptions to the warranty scheme

  • No warranty is given on wear parts such as guides.
  • No warranty is provided on used systems unless otherwise agreed.

Warranty on Spring Machines

The standard warranty period for newly purchased spring machines is 12 months. The warranty for these machines includes the cost of parts and labor. Defective machines are delivered by the customer to Rioned and returned to the customer at the specified address after repair. Rioned is under no circumstances liable for costs resulting from the malfunctioning of a machine or for loss of income as a result thereof.

Exceptions to the warranty scheme

  • No warranty is given on wear parts such as springs and ball bearings.
  • No warranty is provided on used machines unless otherwise agreed.

Applicable Metaalunie Conditions

In addition to the aforementioned warranty conditions, this Agreement is subject to the Metaalunie Conditions, which can be found on the Rioned website www.rioned.com. In the event that a provision of the warranty conditions is wholly or partially invalidated, this provision (or part thereof) will be replaced by what is stipulated in the Metaalunie Conditions.
